GS1 – This is a database of Unique GTIN codes that are registered and standardized. The most common are UPC and EAN barcodes.
WMS (Warehouse Management System) – This is software or some manual system used to track inventory inside the Warehouse. It stores product information such as localization of products on racks, expiry dates, quantities, order information, manufacturer information, etc.

The data stored in the structures of ERP systems facilitate decision-making and allow the control of current processes.
POS (Point of Sale) – The point of sale place or software where a retail transaction is completed. At the point of sale, the system or employee calculates the amount owed by the customer, takes payment from him, and serves him with an invoice or order confirmation.
